Welcome to Dawlish On the coast of South Devon between the Exe and the Teign, Dawlish - the home of the famous "Black Swans" - was a small village until it began to attract summer visitors in the 1790s. In fact Dawlish was some distance from sea, being originally clustered around the parish church of St. Gregory!
